Thameside Radio FM driver transmitter (100mW) dated 5th December 1977
|
Very
stable oscillator drift at 2-3KHz from 5-40 C. This was due to low base
bias (<10 uA) and low loading from the buffer IC which has high input
impeadance. Tests showed increasing the base bias to even 20uA caused
much more frequency drift with temperature. (Mike Burnett 1993)
